Each card displays a selection of symbols, each with a direct Māori translation that players will learn and memorise.
During play, players flip over two cards and race to identify the matching symbols. The first player to correctly call out the associated Māori translation wins the round.
By the end of play, players will be able to confidently recall a range of symbols and their corresponding Te Reo Māori translations, helping to broaden and strengthen their vocabulary.

The best homework these kids have ever seen! The tamariki love to have a go at this game! They got used to the OG Tākaro and needed a challenge. Bits+Bobs sure has challenged them. This is a great way for them to learn new kupu and work on pronunciation. Whakamīharo! Ka nui te mihi e te Tākaro whānau!

These games are an amazing resource for the tamariki attending our holiday programme. Some of the games were a bit challenging to begin with but the tamariki and staff were so excited and proud to learn from one another as they played them together.
