From ngeru to kiwi - animals, birds, and the natural world of Aotearoa in te reo Māori. A favourite for kids who love creatures, and a great way to connect language learning with the world outside. Learn more Te Reo so you can korero about our beautiful ngāi kīrehe (fauna) & ngāi tipu (flora).
Each card displays a selection of symbols, each with a direct Māori translation that players will learn and memorise.
During play, players flip over two cards and race to identify the matching symbols. The first player to correctly call out the associated Māori translation wins the round.
By the end of play, players will be able to confidently recall a range of symbols and their corresponding Te Reo Māori translations, helping to broaden and strengthen their vocabulary.
