Tākaro is a fun and engaging way to help learn and incorporate more Te Reo Māori into players everyday vocabulary.
By working with us to create a custom game we are able to tailor all of the content and vocabulary in the game to suit you and your organisation.
This can then be distributed to your staff, clients, students or anyone else you'd like to share the game with.

Custom game faq
By working with us to create a custom game we are able to tailor all of the content and vocabulary in the game to suit you and your organisation.
For example our BNZ game includes words such as Money, Email, Printer & Bank. These are all everyday words which players are then able to start using in everyday korero.
We are able to customise every aspect of the game, right from the selection of words, game design & packaging and even offer custom inserts and wrapping.
If you can imagine it we can create it.
Project timelines will vary project to project however we are able to turn things around pretty quickly
A custom game could go from an idea to delivered in as short as 12 -16 weeks.
We can do it all, with as much or as little input as you like.
We have a team of designers, translators game crafter and manufacturers that we work with who can take care of the whole process.
Minimum orders start from 500 units.
For smaller amounts we may be able to offer you wholesale pricing of existing games in the Tākaro range.
Cost will vary depending on the size and scale of the project however as these are bulk runs we are often able to provide pricing lower than the RRP of buying Tākaro off the shelf.
We recently partnered with The Bank Of New Zealand to create their own Tākaro Game.
The game is packed with banking and other industry specific vocabulary.
The game includes words such as Money, Email, Printer & Bank. These are everyday words which players are then able to start using in everyday korero.
This was distributed to over 5000 BNZ staff who are able to play Tākaro and help learn more Te Reo which they can then start to use right away in everyday korero around the office.
